Sizes are given as the chest measurement in centimetres. The "R" stands for regular sizing. The "XL" stands for Extra Long meaning extra length in the arms and legs. There is approximately a 12cm drop in the trouser waist measurement, eg; 128R suit has 116cm waist trousers.
